Accenture launches ‘AI Refinery for Industry’, a collection of 12 industry agent solutions, giving clients access to agentic AI to help streamline workflows and drive business growth faster.
The new tech is powered by NVIDIA’s AI technology, and plans to enable faster deployment of a network of specialised AI agents that can address industry challenges and drive results faster for businesses.
Accenture hopes that agentic AI can help address challenges for its clients such as revenue growth management for consumer goods and services, clinical trials for life sciences, asset troubleshooting for the industrial industry, and B2B marketing.
The multinational professional services company said it plans to expand to more than 100 ‘AI Refinery for Industry’ agent solutions by the end of 2025, with the first 12 being available by the end of this month.
The development is part of the Accenture-NVIDIA partnership, which was announced in October 2024, that combines the marketing agency’s industry expertise with NVIDIA’s AI software.
According to Accenture’s website, the ‘AI Refinery’ platform can cause a 25-35% reduction in manual steps for users and a 25-55% increase in speed to market for a marketing campaign.
‘Digital teammates’
Lan Guan, Chief AI Officer at Accenture, said the new expansion “helps clients convert raw AI technologies and tools into scaled enterprise AI systems – providing a foundation to accelerate agentic functionality.”
The latest tech iteration from Accenture and NVIDIA highlights that agentic AI – the use of AI-powered autonomous agents – may be one of the biggest tech developments this year.
He continued: “Our new industry agent solutions will empower organisations to conceptualise agents and quickly prove their value, hitting the ground running on day one as a network of digital teammates.”
Previously, complex AI technology might have not been accessible to the average person. But in recent years, particularly since the release and availability of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which made AI usable to anyone, the movement towards agentic models sheds light on the further democratisation of complex AI technologies.
Justin Boitano, Vice President of Enterprise AI Software Products, NVIDIA, said that agentic tech like ‘AI Refinery for Industry’ “democratises access to advanced AI capabilities”. He added: “Agentic AI is the next wave of artificial intelligence, providing enterprises everywhere with the ability to supercharge productivity with agents that can solve complex, multi-step problems.
