ITG Acquires PureRed to Expand ‘AI Content Approach’ in US

ITG US Leadership Team

Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), an AI-powered content provider, announced it is expanding to the US with a new acquisition.

The Birmingham head-quartered ad services company announced its expansion in the US with the acquisition of PureRed, an omnichannel advertising company.

The partnership gives ITG its first stake in the US, allowing it to expand its AI content solutions globally, and giving it access to PureRed’s roster of clients, including Microsoft, Kroger, and Walgreens. ITG will also add 500 employees to its workforce through the acquisition.

ITG already works with clients like Samsung, Heineken, KFC, Jaguar Land Rover and Comcast.

Since it was founded in 2019, the firm has provided strategy, creative production, performance marketing, TV, film and photography services to clients.

The company’s AI-powered content marketing tool Storyteq has been chosen as a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant list for best digital asset management and content marketing solutions, alongside Bynder and Aprimo.

Storyteq creates content, develops workflows, and ensures brand compliance.

The AI-powered tool can also identify audience personas, understand what content is needed and at what time, and can analyse asset performance.

ITG CEO Andrew Swinand, who formerly led Publicis Groupe Creative US and Leo Burnett, says the acquisition is about “much more than delivering higher volumes of content”.

“It’s about unlocking the full potential of AI in marketing,” Andrew said, “leveraging both technology and creativity to craft the perfect story for every possible user interaction across any channel. With PureRed as part of the ITG family, we’re not just scaling our capabilities – we’re leading the transformation of our industry through a smarter, AI-enabled approach to content.”
