In a statement, e-commerce giant Amazon announced two new offerings – an agentic upgrade to its GenAI tool Seller Assistant and a new agentic ad creation tool Creative Studio.
Acting as a personal business consultant, Seller Assistant can develop strategic solutions for Amazon sellers, actively monitor inventory levels, reason, plan and act when authorised.
The assistant can also help sellers navigate compliance requirements and safety standards for their products and monitor the seller’s account health, through identifying low selling products and suggesting new prices.
Agentic AI for Ad Creation
Amazon has also launched an AI chatbot to help small businesses create and distribute AI-generated ads.
The new tool will enable Amazon sellers to describe in a conversational way what ad they want generated. The chatbot will then take information from a seller’s brand guidelines and product pages to generate the ad.
Users can also have the tool write a script, add music, generate a voiceover, and create a storyboard to appear on Prime Video, Kindle, Twitch and Amazon’s online marketplace.
In the statement, Amazon explained how, for one seller, the Creative Studio caused a 338 percent increase in ad click-through rate compared to active Sponsored Video ads. This seller also reported a 121 percent return on ad spend.
These tools aim to help Amazon sellers drive business growth on the platform, even with little technical AI knowledge.
The product is currently in beta and runs on Amazon’s own Nova model and Anthropic’s Claude.
