FILA & Almost Gods Launch AI-Generated Ad

Studio Blo, an India-based AI-first content studio, has created a fully AI-generated advert to market a clothing collaboration between sports clothing brand FILA and Indian streetwear brand Almost Gods.

Studio Blo’s AI-generated ad focuses on aligning visual storytelling with the clothes collection that has a focus on brutalism, dark colours, and a reinterpretation of classical silhouettes.

Speaking about the production, Studio Blo Co-founder and CEO Dipanker Mukherjee said: ““This film is a testament to why brands and agencies should stop expecting AI films to be quick and cheap. We spent months in preparation, with seasoned cinematographers, creative directors and AI artists crafting every shot.”

The ad for the FILA and Almost Gods collaboration has gone live across YouTube and Instagram.

The dream-like ad shows three characters, all dressed in the new collection, getting swept up in a sandstorm on an alien-like planet.

“What excites me most is how AI allows us to blur the lines between fantasy and reality, giving fashion a stage where philosophy, symbolism, and spectacle can coexist,” said Rishabh Suri, co-founder, CCO, Studio Blo. “This is not about replacing craft, it’s about expanding it, opening doors for fashion storytelling to become more immersive, cinematic, and emotionally resonant than ever before.”

To create the ad, Studio Blo revealed real-life models were cloned using AI, with the clothes and their ‘look’ generated entirely with AI. No shot was created at a real-life production shoot.

Studio Blo focuses on cinematic ads primarily using AI and VFX in its workflows.

The Next Generation of Ad Creation

Increasingly, fashion brands are turning to AI-generated ads – often getting rid of the need for expensive photo and production shoots.

AI ads enable brands to create more imaginative visual content that they may not have been able to previously because of time and money constraints.

The nature of modelling is also changing. Models are now outsourcing their visual IP to brands. Major brands like MANGO and H&M are using AI to create a digital clone of real-life models to be used in ads.
