Workplace AI platform Glean has announced today it is expanding its agentic AI offering, Glean Agents, to enable the building, deployment, and governing of AI agents in the workplace.
Glean Agents is a horizontal agent environment that gives businesses control over where agents run and what AI models they use.
The US-based company created an AI model hub built into the platform which houses models from developers like Azure, Amazon Bedrock, and Vertex AI.
Users can use natural language to build agents that can coordinate with other agents and access data from Glean.
Businesses can also analyse agent behaviour and get faster iterations of agents for more accurate outcomes from them over time.
Within the platform, numerous pre-built agents – including productivity agents and deep research agents – are now available.
As part of a new integration with data company Snowflake, there is now a pre-built ‘structured query’ agent available, letting users use natural language to query data stored in Snowflake.
Glean has outlined that the agents “operate securely” and that enterprise data will be protected. Glean Agents is integrated with safeguards which detect jailbreak attempts or data oversharing. Enterprises can view and manage which agents are used to ensure they align with company policies.
“AI agents should be in the hands of every employee and driving outcomes across the entire enterprise,” said Arvind Jain, Founder & CEO at Glean. “Glean Agents turns that vision into a reality with an open, interoperable platform that integrates across systems, supports leading LLMs, and makes it easy to build and scale agents that actually move the business forward.”
New features in Glean Agents are available starting today, including the agent library, agentic reasoning engine, and the AI model hub. Features like the deep research agent and sensitive content protection are set to be available for use soon.
