HubSpot has announced its acquisition of AI workplace search assistant company Dashworks.
The US-based CRM software company said the acquisition will give its users access to an AI assistant, capable of deep research and reasoning.
Towards the end of last year, HubSpot launched its AI offering, Breeze Copilot, which enables users to get insights and recommendations about leads, customers and engagement through an AI chatbot.
The acquisition will enable the AI agent to connect unstructured data sources, making the platform so that users can give prompts using natural language.
The integration will also facilitate research inside and outside of the HubSpot platform and access over 1,800 app integrations.
“With HubSpot’s leadership in go-to-market solutions and their advanced work with unstructured data, our next chapter with HubSpot will help even more businesses unlock the full potential of AI in their daily workflows,” said Dashworks co-founder Prasad Kawthekar.
Dashworks, which was founded in 2018, markets itself as an ‘AI assistant for workplace questions’ that connects apps, websites, and documents that are important for a business.
Some examples of how the integration can be utilised by users includes marketers being able to ask the chatbot about the latest brand guidelines, sales reps having access to accounts outside of the CRM, and CX professionals asking for specific answers from the AI’s knowledge base.
“What’s impressive about Dashworks is its simplicity – ask a question, and it instantly pulls information scattered across documents, messages, tickets, teams, and third-party apps,” said Nicholas Holland, SVP and Head of AI at HubSpot. “What used to take hours now takes seconds.”
