Japan Airlines Partners with Jellyfish and Pencil for AI In-Flight Videos

Veo 2

Japan Airlines has created in-flight content using Google’s Veo 2 in collaboration with AI and data marketing firm Jellyfish and Gen AI SaaS platform Pencil.

Brandtech Group, the parent company of both Jellyfish and Pencil, announced it would be partnering with Google Cloud towards the end of last year.

As part of the partnership, the tech giant’s models were integrated into ad generation platform Pencil and Pencil Pro.

Google’s text-to-video generator Veo 2 is a part of this integration, as well as image creation tool Imagen 3, and text-generation tool Gemini.

Japan Airlines is the latest brand to utilise this alliance, and has created in-flight videos of the best spots for passengers to visit in Japan using Veo 2.

The AI-generated in-flight videos show different locations that visitors to the country might be interested in seeing – showcasing tourist attractions within cities and historical landmarks to passengers.

Jellyfish recently announced its own in-house AI Studios, giving clients access to Pencil, and now Google’s Gen AI tools.
