Pedigree India, a Mars Petcare brand, released a series of AI-generated songs to de-stress dogs during the Diwali season.
The ‘Pawsome Playlist’ tracks come with AI-generated videos depicting festive scenes with dogs and their families.
The playlist features soothing piano instrumentals, designed to calm dogs amid the holiday noise. There are six tracks in the playlist, with titles including “Wait For Wags” and “Take It Off (Paw Version).”
“Studies have shown gentle, steady music helps dogs stay calm and relaxed even during noisy evenings.” said Dr Jasleen Kaur, a veterinarian, on Pedigree India’s Instagram page.
The playlist can be streamed through Pedigree India’s YouTube channel.
Addressing Time Sensitivity
Using AI to produce creative ad content can be especially useful when it comes to seasonal promotions.
Considering that generating visual ad material is a timely and costly process, it can be difficult to keep up with the changing of seasons with relevant advertisements.
The surge of AI creative tools has made it possible for brands to release more content while eliminating some of the cost and time barriers that come with traditional ad creation.
For example, fashion brand Zalando shared in May that it is using GenAI to produce ads to keep up with short-lived clothing trends. The brand uses AI for imagery in these cases, even using the technology to create ‘digital twins’ of fashion models.
This strategy helped the brand reduce costs by 90 percent, Matthias Haase, vice president of content solutions at Zalando, said.
