The trainers brand Skechers has revealed an AI-powered retail assistant in its Singapore store, created by the London-based creative agency We Are Social.
The AI stylist is located in Skechers Punggol Coast Mall shop in Singapore, which recently opened.
The shopping assistant is within an interactive kiosk in the shop, and offers customers personalised style advice and outfit recommendations.
Customers can speak to the assistant, named Luna, about their style preferences and Luna can suggest clothes based on the consumer’s preferences or on their current outfit.
Customers can converse with the assistant in-store and continue their conversation online through the chat app Telegram.
We are already seeing AI agents having an impact on the way consumers shop, as agents are able to remember what a customer likes and suggest recommendations based on this.
Luna was created by the Singapore branch of London-headquartered We Are Social, built using agentic AI and various AI models that allow speech-to-speech communication.
“The emergence of AI speech-to-speech technologies is powering an agentic AI revolution that forms the backbone of future consumer-facing systems. Luna is an additional touchpoint for Skechers to complement its innovative retail experience, uniting retail and online environments into a seamless ecosystem,” Manolis Perrakis, Innovation Director at We Are Social Singapore, told Marketing-Interactive.
